Tikki Tembo officially began late 2010, a new alias Marcus decided to use as an umbrella name for his DJ, Live Shows & Production (previously known as Marc Us & The Soul Shepherds).

Sydney based DJ/Producer Tikki Tembo prides himself on being a versatile selector with technical skills to boot. A lover of all things soul and funk inspired, he champions a diverse range of sounds from down tempo grooves, nu-disco to various facets of House.

With one foot firmly planted in the Sydney House scene, he is a resident DJ for one of the most recognizable club brands in Australia, SHE (Soulful House Experience), which has seen him support the who's who of House including Dimitri From Paris, Joey Negro, David Morales, Junior Jack & Kid Creme, Sandy Rivera, Ron Carroll, Julie McKnight, The Shapeshifters, DJ Spen, Richard Earnshaw and DJ Meme.

As a DJ, career highlights include: playing at the Funky Room in Pacha, Ibiza for stable nights Swedish House Mafia and Subliminal Session; Big Chill Bar in London and the Dank Street Festival in Sydney. He has also been a support DJ for touring club nights such as Defected In The House, Hed Kandi, OM Records, Soul Heaven, MN2S and Fierce Angels.  As well as sharing the stage with West Coast pioneers Mark Farina, Miguel Migs, Jay J, Julius Pap, Chuck Love, Jason Hodges, Andy Caldwell, Joshua Heath and Random Soul.

Away from the bars and clubs, Tikki Tembo is a DJ of choice for corporate events such as Oprah's Australian Tour Wrap Party, Vivid Sydney, Vodafone, A1 Grand Prix, ACP Magazines and APN Outdoor. While on the airwaves he has had mixes featured on Triple J (Nationwide), KissFm (Melb) and 2SER (Syd).

2011 see Tikki Tembo step into the production circle with a string of releases on Milk and Sugar, Kinjo, Seasons Limited, Diamondhouse, SHE Recordings; remixing the likes of Sonny Fodera & Distant People. His first single 'Ride' featuring Kyla Sexton was picked up for no less then three compilations for the 2011 Summer Season in both Mykonos and Ibiza.

Achievements aside, Tikki Tembo is a music lover at heart so as 2012 draws near keep your eyes and ears peeled as he shares some of his musical love near you.
